Revisions and Work Beyond the Project Scope

Any and all revision requests, updates, corrections, additions or variations MUST be provided to Shannon Brunson Design Company in writing. Revisions may be discussed verbally, however no work will be done until the Client submits their revisions in writing by email.

 The Client understands that any and all revision requests, updates, corrections, additions or variations beyond the original project scope will incur an hourly billable or project charge. Design work is not done free of charge unless otherwise arranged with Shannon Brunson Design Company explicitly and clearly in writing.

Revision requests are to be made within SEVEN days of receiving the proofs. If no revisions are requested within this time, it is assumed that the submitted proof is the accepted FINAL. Any revisions made after this point are subject to additional fees at the hourly rate.

The total project quote or rate provided by Shannon Brunson Design Company is based on a reasonable average or specified number of revisions per design item, and associated number of billable hours and agreed upon in the Project Agreement Contract. On the occasion the Client requests drafts or revisions that go beyond the scope of the original quote or rate, Shannon Brunson Design Company reserves the right to charge an additional hourly rate upon informing the Client that the request will incur an additional cost. Shannon Brunson Design will always inform the Client or additional billable hours and/or charges before starting work beyond the scope.

Payment Policies

Design and Illustration services involve significant specialization and expertise, therefore design projects should be regarded differently than a manufactured product. Shannon Brunson Design Company’s rates accurately reflect the time, care and expertise that goes into creation and execution of design and illustration projects.

All quotations given are estimates only, unless otherwise negotiated and noted in writing on a Client contract (Project Agreement Contract). If no additions have been made by the client over the course of the project, the final invoice will not exceed the quoted amount by a margin of over 15% without prior notification and written authorization by the client.

Deposits and Payments

All projects under $500 are to be paid in full before the start of the project. All projects over $500 will require 50% deposit, and the balance paid in full before delivery of the final design files. All work remains the property of Shannon Brunson Design Company until final payment is received and has cleared. Client may not use or distribute any works until paid for in full.

Retainer

Trusted clients requiring long term and ongoing design work may be placed on a monthly billing cycle upon request. Clients on monthly billing will be invoiced on or around the last Monday of each month. Clients requesting a monthly billing arrangement are required to maintain current contact information and a valid credit card on file with Shannon Brunson Design Company. Should the card be declined, the monthly retainer will be cancelled. Should the client wish to terminate the retainer, Shannon Brunson Design must be notified 15 days before the next invoice.

Accepted Payment Currencies

We bill all clients in USD.

Taxes

Shannon Brunson Design Company bills in accordance to North Carolina’s tax laws. Presently, taxes are not billed for services. However, we must charge taxes on physical inventory (stickers, t-shirts, etc).

Delinquent Invoices

All invoices are payable on receipt, net 7 days. After 30 days, late payment charges equivalent to 5% of the outstanding balance is applied to all delinquent Client invoices, without exception. If the Client remains in default after 60 days, an additional 5% of the outstanding invoice balance is applied as a late payment charge.

If the Client remains in default after 60 days, we will issue a final warning by email before turning the account over to a third-party collection agency or appropriate legal authority.

If a Client’s payment is charged back to us by way of credit card fraud or other crime, we will issue a final warning by email before turning the account over to a third-party collection agency or appropriate legal authority.

Clients are responsible for all late fees and costs incurred for reporting to collections. If collection efforts are unsuccessful, we will engage the Client in litigation to collect the debt, and all copyright will remain with Shannon Brunson Design Company. The Client will forgo all rights to use Shannon Brunson Design Company designs in manner, and legal action will be taken to enforce this policy.

Abandoned Projects

A project shall be considered abandoned after 60 consecutive days have passed since the last communication received from the Client. In all abandoned projects, deposits are forfeit without option for reclamation. Any renewal of the project after termination will require a new agreement, fee schedule and deposit.

 

Shop Policies

Shipping

All orders both U.S. and international are shipped via USPS on Wednesdays and Fridays. You will receive a confirmation email once shipped, with a tracking number, if available through the Postal Service. US orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and do not include tracking. 

Returns

Only unused, unwashed, tagged apparel returns are accepted. All returns must be within 30 days after shipment. To issue a return, please contact us at shannon@shannonbrunson.com, to which a return address will be given. Purchaser shall pay for postage.

Damaged Items

We wrap our orders with care, but every once in a while, packages can be damaged in transit. If your package is damaged from shipping, please file a claim with USPS. If your order was damaged from an issue with the packaging, please take photos and follow the instructions in the "Returns" section of the policies page.
